How to calculate gold or silver price by weight

For a weight in tola, multiply the published per-tola rate by your weight. For grams, divide the source’s published 10-gram rate by 10, then multiply by your weight. The calculator uses the source’s separate unit quotes instead of converting and rounding one quote into the other.

What this estimate includes—and what it doesn’t

The result is the value of the entered metal weight at the displayed reference rate. It excludes making charges, stones, wastage charges and other invoice additions. Use net metal weight, not the total weight of an item with stones or other materials. It is not a dealer’s selling or buyback quote.

The available categories are the source’s published छापावाल सुन and असली चाँदी rates. Do not use the gold result as a separately published 22K or 18K price. Match the category, unit and publication date before comparing a quote.

Where the calculator gets its rates

PSURAJ reads the public daily-rate feed from FENEGOSIDA. Rates are loaded when the widget opens or you select “Refresh rates”; the server caches successful responses for up to 15 minutes. The displayed publication date may be earlier than today. A retrieval is not a new price publication.

If the source cannot be verified, the calculator displays an unavailable message instead of a placeholder value. PSURAJ is an independent tool, not affiliated with the association.

How do I calculate the price of half a tola of gold in Nepal?

Select Gold and Tola, then enter 0.5 or choose the 0.5 tola shortcut. The calculator multiplies the displayed per-tola gold rate by 0.5. Read the rate publication date beside the result; it is a material estimate, not a finished jewellery quote.

Does switching from tola to grams convert my entered weight?

No. The unit selector changes the meaning of the number you entered. If you enter 5 and switch to Grams, the tool calculates for 5 grams. Enter the actual weight in your selected unit; the calculator uses the corresponding published unit rate.

Can I calculate a jewellery resale or buyback price?

Not an actual dealer offer. The result estimates metal value at the source reference rate, before purity testing, deductions or dealer terms. Ask the buyer for an itemised quotation and compare the same net metal weight and grade.

Will the embedded calculator update prices automatically?

It requests the latest available source response when loaded or when a visitor selects Refresh rates. Successful server responses may be cached for up to 15 minutes. The publication date stays visible; leaving a page open does not continuously refresh it.
