Use the rate, not just the headline number

First match the metal, its grade, the weight unit and the publication date. The gold card follows the source’s “छापावाल सुन” category. It is not a separate quote for every jewellery purity.

From a published rate to a weight estimate

For a rough material-only estimate in grams, divide the published 10-gram rate by 10, then multiply by your weight in grams. For example, a hypothetical NPR 250,000 per 10 grams gives NPR 75,000 for 3 grams. This is arithmetic, not today’s price or a shop quotation.

What to ask a jeweller

Ask for the metal grade, net metal weight, applicable rate, making charges, any wastage charge, stones and other additions, and the final invoice total. A published material rate does not establish a finished item’s price or its resale value.

Where these prices come from

PSURAJ reads the Federation of Nepal Gold & Silver Dealers’ Association public daily-rate feed. Each displayed value keeps its source unit and date. We do not infer 22-karat prices, invent missing rates, or relabel an older publication as today. This independent reference page is not affiliated with the association and does not provide investment advice.

Is the displayed gold price a live international spot price?

No. It is the association’s published Nepal reference rate for the named category and unit. The publication date appears with the value. A new page visit or retrieval timestamp does not mean the underlying price was updated.

How do I calculate the price for one gram?

Use the published 10-gram rate and divide it by 10. Multiply that derived per-gram rate by your net metal weight for a material-only estimate. The site keeps per-tola and per-10-gram publications separate instead of implying their rounded figures are interchangeable.

Does this include jewellery making charges or a buyback price?

No. This is a reference material rate, not an itemised jewellery bill or a resale offer. Ask the dealer to state grade, net weight, making charges, other charges and the final amount separately. A buyback quote needs its own terms.

Why isn’t a 22-karat price shown?

The verified feed used here supplies the displayed gold category and silver rates. This page does not calculate a purported official 22-karat rate from another grade. Check the association and your dealer for the exact product and purity you need.
