Switch between BS and AD to choose the main calendar. Large dates follow that selection; the smaller date uses the alternative calendar. Select the month heading to jump to a date, or use the arrows to browse. “Today” follows Asia/Kathmandu, even when you visit from another country. Month links keep your calendar selection without putting a day in the URL.
About the calendar data
This calendar uses the same conversion table as our date converter, from @sbmdkl/nepali-date-converter, with BS 2083 month lengths checked against Everest Bank’s published 2083 calendar. Browsing covers BS 1979–2096 and complete Gregorian months within that range. Other years follow the library’s table; future entries are not a claim of officially published calendars. Confirm important dates against the original record.
The suggested Nepali Patro repository was reviewed on 27 September 2026. Its event files cover BS 2074–2080, and no reuse license was found. Its code and event files have not been copied into this tool. Religious observances cannot be carried forward by simply reusing a previous year’s dates.
Using the Nepali calendar
How do I show a calendar for an English date?
Select the month heading, choose AD, and pick an English year, month and day. Select Show date to display that Gregorian month and highlight your chosen day. AD dates become the large numbers and BS dates appear smaller. Choose BS to return to Nepali monthly view.

The date panel shows its full BS and AD dates, weekday, the number of days in that BS month, and how far it is from today in Nepal. Use Previous day or Next day to explore. The copy button shares the displayed month, not a specific day; opening details does not add a day to the URL.

Not yet. A current, verified, reusable festival and panchanga source has not been connected. Missing information is shown as unavailable, not as proof that a day has no observances. Saturday colouring only identifies the weekly weekend.

Today follows Asia/Kathmandu (Nepal Standard Time, UTC+05:45). If you are outside Nepal, the calendar day in Nepal can differ from your local date. Date conversion itself treats inputs as calendar dates, without shifting them through your device time zone.
