Tips for Nepali Unicode typing
A few shortcuts for the letters you need.
Separate a letter group
Use / when a letter joins the one before it incorrectly. The slash separates the sounds and is removed from the result.
pratishatko → pratishat/koप्रतिशत्को → प्रतिशतकोFinish with a halant
शब्दको अन्त्यमा हलन्त राख्न \ प्रयोग गर्नुहोस्।
A backslash removes the final consonant’s inherent vowel.

Case matters for these pairs. Other letter mappings accept upper or lower case.

After a consonant, vowels become vowel signs: ki → कि, kaa → का. You can also use ii for ई and uu for ऊ.
